TRAILBLAZERS Tandem Cycling Club
TRAILBLAZERS Tandem Cycling Club is a community-based recreational cycling club with a twist: it offers the opportunity for individuals with vision loss to cycle with sighted volunteers on tandem (two-person) bicycles that are provided by the organization.
Funds raised via EyeRide 2026 will help rejuvenate its fleet of older tandem bicycles so they can continue to support the mental and physical health of our community. TRAILBLAZERS was an integral part of the inaugural EyeRide and is looking to athletes, avid cyclists and their supporters to keep that tradition going strong.
BALANCE for Blind Adults
BALANCE for Blind Adults is honoured to be a recipient of funds raised through EyeRide for a third year. BALANCE offing fers programs and services to support the whole person. Regardless of where an individual is in their sight loss journey, to wherever they may be going, BALANCE provides services and programs needed to get there. The organization offers Orientation & Mobility (O&M), Community Engagement, adaptive daily living skills, group programming, technology training – including their Assistive Technology (AT) Apprenticeship Program and mental health supports.
Funds donated to BALANCE from EyeRide 2026 will directly support mental health and well-being programs – including in-person group programs — for some of their most vulnerable clients, led by counsellors with lived experience of blindness.

Blind Sailing Association of Canada
Blind Sailing Association of Canada (BSAC) is thrilled to be a beneficiary of funds raised through EyeRide 2026. Since 2002, the BSAC has been empowering
blind and visually impaired sailors, offering everything from beginner lessons to competitive racing on the waters of Lake Ontario. BSAC members don’t just come along for the ride – they actively helm boats, adjust sails with the guidance of sighted volunteers and build incredible friendships in the process, making sailing an accessible and unforgettable experience.
EyeRide 2026 funds donated to the BSAC will support much-needed repairs and upgrades to two sailboats, C-Breeze (a spunky Catalina Capri 22)
and Catch the Wind a cruising friendly ( Catalina 270), so their members will feel the freedom of accessible sailing for years to come.
